There are few combinations as magical as a Newport summer and a good book. Add in a 1961 Studebaker Champ, custom fit to carry hundreds of your favorite reads, and you have one definition of perfection.
Flatbed Fiction is bringing the joy and curiosity sparked by reading out into the world. We carry mostly paperbacks, we love a good “beach read” (and offer those titles with pride), and — despite our name — you’ll find nonfiction and children’s books on our shelves as well.

Visit Grafik Coffee on Sunday morning to grab a book alongside your coffee. We’ll be reading a children’s book around 11 am, and we plan to pop up at Grafik throughout the summer!

We’re headed to Bristol to celebrate Fourth of July Weekend at the Mount Hope Farmer’s Market. If you’re in town for the oldest parade in the nation, come spend Saturday morning at a classic Farmer’s market.

Summer Sunset Reads
Third Beach | July 10 | 6-8 pm
When the sun sets late, bring a picnic to Third Beach and meet us by the boat ramp to browse some books in the warm last light. July 10 is a full moon, making it a perfect night for dinner al fresco.
